Future Forces 2026 brings defence and security technologies, expert discussions and international business contacts together in Prague. For a visiting company, the strongest starting point is a clear application for its technology and a shortlist of people to meet.

Prague will host Future Forces Exhibition & Forum from 21 to 23 October 2026 at PVA EXPO PRAHA in Letňany. The exhibition is part of the wider Future Forces Forum programme, which connects industry, public institutions, researchers and professional users in defence, security and emergency services. Future Forces — exhibition overview

For international companies considering Czechia or Central Europe, the event offers a focused setting to explore technologies, understand customer requirements and meet potential partners. Its relevance extends to suppliers of software, sensors, communications, protective equipment and other specialist components.

This is a first guide to the upcoming event: what to look for, how to register and how to turn a visit into a useful next conversation.

Dates and venue at a glance

The organiser publishes the following exhibition hours, in local Prague time:

Exhibition dayOpening hours
Wednesday, 21 October 202609:00–17:00
Thursday, 22 October 202609:00–17:00
Friday, 23 October 202609:00–15:00

The venue is PVA EXPO PRAHA, Beranových 667, Prague 9–Letňany, Czech Republic. The broader Global Networking Week runs from 19 to 23 October; visitors planning around the exhibition should use the three exhibition dates above. Future Forces — dates, hours and venue

The organiser recommends metro line C to Letňany for access to the exhibition grounds. Plan the journey to Letňany when choosing accommodation and arranging meetings elsewhere in Prague. Which technologies are in focus?

The exhibition's published profile includes autonomous systems, robotics and AI; cyber security; air defence and counter-drone technologies; critical infrastructure protection; logistics; training and simulation; and emergency and military medicine. It also includes individual protection and CBRN capabilities—protection against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats. Future Forces — main areas and topics

Those topics can help an international supplier decide where to focus its visit:

Your company's areaA useful question to explore
Sensors, electronics and communicationsWhich local integrators need your capability, and what evidence would they require to evaluate it?
Robotics, autonomous systems and AIWhich application needs testing, and who could assess performance in the intended environment?
Cyber security and infrastructure protectionWhich customer workflow or infrastructure problem does your product address?
Training, simulation and specialist equipmentWhat does the user need to practise, maintain or support, and how would your product fit?

These are starting points for a business discussion. The useful match depends on the product, its readiness and the role each organisation could play.

Choose the programme around your purpose

The published programme combines the exhibition with expert events. Examples include the Future of Cyber Conference and Defence & Security Innovation Forum on 21–23 October, the Medical Conference and Security & Defence Interests in Space Conference on 22 October, and the robotic systems conference on 22–23 October. It also lists official NATO working group sessions during the wider week. Future Forces — current programme

Choose sessions that help answer a specific question. A component manufacturer may want to understand integration requirements. A software company may want to hear how users describe an operational problem. A research team may be looking for someone who can evaluate a proposed pilot.

Check each session's current description, language, timing and admission conditions before committing your itinerary. The programme can change, and some expert events require an invitation.

Professional registration and access

The event is intended for professional and business visitors. According to the organiser's registration terms, online registration for the exhibition is free; onsite registration costs EUR 20 including VAT. Expert panels are free with online registration, although some events have restricted access.

The terms also specify business casual or service dress, identity checks and no general admission for visitors under 18. Special arrangements may be available for organised student groups. Registration provides a QR code through the contact email entered in the form.

Register through the official Future Forces website. Select the exhibition and relevant expert events, read the current conditions and keep the registration confirmation available for arrival. Future Forces — registration terms and fees

Prepare meetings before travelling

The organiser provides a current exhibitor directory. Use it to identify companies by their actual role: potential customer, manufacturer, distributor, system integrator, service provider or research partner.

Start with a manageable shortlist. For each company, write down why your product could be relevant and what you would like to establish in a meeting. Prepare a concise English introduction, a clear description of the application and evidence you can share with that audience.

Future Forces also describes a matchmaking programme through which registered participants can request meetings with exhibitors, partners and official delegations. Its page says participation instructions will be provided to registered participants; check the current process with the organiser after registering. A meeting request still needs acceptance by the other party. Future Forces — matchmaking information

A useful preparation sequence is:

  1. Define the purpose of the visit: customer research, partner development, supplier evaluation or a pilot discussion.
  2. Select relevant companies and sessions, then request meetings ahead of arrival.
  3. Prepare product information that explains the application, current readiness and support you can provide.
  4. Leave time between sessions for demonstrations and conversations on the exhibition floor.
  5. After each meeting, record the agreed next step, responsible person and information still needed.

For suppliers from Europe, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan or other markets, the same principle applies: make it easy for a Czech counterpart to understand where your technology fits and how a collaboration could begin.

The main conclusion

Future Forces 2026 offers a concentrated opportunity to explore defence and security technology in Prague. Its value for a visiting company will depend on the questions it brings, the people it meets and the work it does afterwards.

Register early, confirm access to the sessions you need and build a focused meeting plan. Aim to leave with a qualified contact and a concrete next step, such as a technical discussion, a demonstration or a clearly defined evaluation.
