A useful proposal starts with a clear picture of the product and the result you want to pursue. You do not need a finished Czech market-entry plan before contacting Kodo.
For a manufacturer seeking customers or distributors, a short brief and a few relevant documents can be enough to begin the discussion. We use them to understand the assignment and propose the work that would make sense first.
Start with the products you want to introduce
Send a product catalogue or a clear description of the range you want to promote. If the catalogue covers many different products, identify the ones relevant to this enquiry.
For technical products, include specifications that help explain the application and operating requirements. If confidential material is involved, contact us first to agree an appropriate way to share it.
The aim is to understand what a potential buyer would need to evaluate, not to collect every document your company holds.
Add relevant experience
A few project references help explain where the product has been used and what type of customer it serves. Choose examples connected to the applications you want to pursue.
State which reference details can be used in a first introduction and which need to remain private. An approved public example can support outreach without requiring a prospective buyer to interpret a long presentation.
Describe the relationship you want
If you want direct customers, say so. If you need a distributor, sales partner or integration company, describe that role.
You can also ask Kodo to investigate which route looks worth testing. Our business support in the Czech Republic can combine customer research, partner search, first contact, follow-up and support with commercial discussions.
Include your target countries and any sectors you want to prioritise. Czechia is our main market; selected countries in Central Europe and the Balkans can be included by agreement.
Explain what would be useful first
Examples of a focused starting assignment include:
- research into a defined customer segment;
- identification of potential distributors;
- preparation of a local sales presentation;
- an agreed first programme of company outreach;
- support for a discussion with an already identified company.
If you already have contacts or previous responses, include them. This helps avoid repeating work and can reveal what needs attention now.
What the proposal should clarify
Kodo's written proposal defines the work, deliverables, timing and price before paid work begins. For outreach, it should explain whether the scope covers research, introductions, follow-up, meetings or ongoing commercial coordination.
The pricing page provides starting prices for several services. Buyer and distributor search is quoted individually because the assignment depends on the product, countries and research or outreach involved.
The proposal describes the work Kodo can undertake. A customer's purchasing decision remains part of the subsequent commercial process.
Send the brief, then agree the next step
Use the English contact page to describe your products and the customers you want to reach. We can discuss the available supporting material and prepare a non-binding proposal for a defined first assignment.
An initial enquiry gives us a starting point. Paid work begins after the scope is agreed.
