A packaging document, a question about a Czech company, a product catalogue for a distributor search: each needs a clear place to go and a conversation that stays with it.
Kodo Portal brings these exchanges into one client workspace. You can share information and files, discuss your request with Kodo and return to the documents and next steps when you need them. You can also install the portal as a web app on a supported phone or computer.
Registration is free and non-binding. For companies considering our business research services, we also offer a first simple company search free of charge, so you can see how we present the findings before commissioning a larger project.
Czech packaging EPR and PPWR support in one workspace
For a foreign business selling packaged products into Czechia, packaging responsibilities can involve company information, packaging data, supporting documents and recurring communication.
EPR means extended producer responsibility. PPWR is the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, which covers a broader range of packaging requirements. Kodo's EPR section gives clients a place to organise the information and work they are handling with us. For background on the EU framework, see the European Commission's explanation of PPWR.
Depending on the agreed service and the access enabled for your company, you can:
- provide company details and the information Kodo needs to review your situation;
- submit packaging information through the relevant forms;
- upload supporting documents and return to them later;
- follow your EPR case and the next information requested from you;
- exchange messages and attachments with Kodo within the case;
- download documents shared with you and keep the conversation alongside the work.
This can be useful for online retailers, manufacturers and other businesses that need help understanding and managing their Czech packaging EPR work. The starting point is your actual sales and packaging arrangements, so we can establish what support is relevant.

Business enquiries: describe what you need in Czechia
The Business enquiries section is for commercial research and practical business support. It gives you a way to explain your situation, send the relevant files and receive a proposal for the work.
Perhaps you manufacture industrial equipment and want to identify potential Czech customers. You may be looking for a distributor, a local sales partner or a company that could use your products. Or you may already have a possible partner and need basic information before taking the next step.
A business enquiry can cover requests such as:
- finding business partners in the Czech Republic;
- researching potential buyers, distributors or relevant industrial companies;
- understanding competitors and publicly available information about the market;
- reviewing a company you are considering working with;
- preparing sales materials or a local website for your target market;
- arranging local coordination and support for the next stage of your market entry.
Czechia is our main focus. You can also discuss opportunities in Central Europe and the Balkans, with the countries and the scope defined for your specific request.
From an initial brief to a proposal
Inside the portal, you can describe what your company offers, what you need help with and what a useful result would look like. You can attach a product catalogue, technical specifications, photographs, a presentation or other supporting files.
Timing and an indicative budget can be added if you already know them. You can also save a draft and return to it before submitting.
After submission, Kodo reviews the request. If more information is needed, we can discuss it in the same enquiry. You can then review our proposal, including the scope, price and intended output, and accept it through the portal when you are ready to proceed.
Submitting the enquiry is non-binding. It gives us the context to suggest a concrete piece of work.
For a broader introduction, see our business support and buyer search services.
Free registration and a first simple company search
Creating a Kodo Portal account is free. Kodo reviews the registration and enables the sections relevant to your company: EPR, Business enquiries or both. If you need an additional section later, you can ask us to enable it.
For your first straightforward business research request, we can carry out a simple initial company search free of charge. We agree on a small, clear scope with you first.
For example, you might ask us to identify a relevant Czech company for a particular product or establish a few basic publicly available details about a business you have already found. The result can show the company identified, why it may be relevant and the sources behind the information.
The purpose is practical: you can see how we approach your question and whether the output helps you decide what to do next.
A broader search, detailed company review, outreach or ongoing support can then be proposed with a defined scope and price. EPR services are also agreed separately from the free portal registration.
Install Kodo Portal as a web app
Kodo Portal is available as a Progressive Web App, usually shortened to PWA. On a supported device, you can install it and open it from its own icon. It uses your existing account and the same portal data.
Once you are signed in, look for Install Kodo Portal. If your browser supports the installation prompt, the button will guide you through it. Your browser may also provide an installation option in its menu.
On Android
Open the portal in Chrome, sign in and use the installation button or the browser's Install app option. Chrome is a practical choice if another browser only adds a shortcut to your home screen. Google's web app instructions explain the installation steps.
On iPhone or iPad
Open the portal in Safari, use the sharing menu and choose Add to Home Screen. Where offered, keep Open as Web App enabled. Apple's instructions show how this works on iPhone.
On a supported desktop browser, you can use its installation option as well. The portal requires an internet connection to load your information, send messages and upload files.
A place to return to the work
The useful part of the portal is the record it keeps around each request: the brief, supporting files, questions, proposal and subsequent conversation.
You can use it to send a packaging document from your office, check a business proposal while travelling or return to a discussion without searching through separate email threads. Installation makes that workspace easier to reach from your device.
Create your free Kodo Portal account, or visit the client area if you already have access.
If you would like to try the first simple company search, mention it in your Business enquiry and tell us what you want to find out. We will agree on the initial scope with you.
