Power Conference comes to Prague on 2–3 December 2026. If you are deciding what to automate, bring one process your team already runs and use the programme to test how you would put it into production.
An automation demo can show a supplier’s order confirmation moving from an inbox to a business system. The harder questions come from ordinary exceptions. What happens when the attachment lists the wrong item code? Who approves a change in price? How do you recover if the destination system goes down halfway through?
Those are useful questions to take to Power Conference 2026, a Prague event focused on Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric and enterprise AI. The programme covers building automations as well as running them: approvals, access to data, integrations, performance and costs. This guide picks sessions that can help a team make those decisions. What to put on your 3 December schedule
Several useful talks run in parallel. For example, a process owner deciding where to keep human approval may choose the 10:15 Copilot Studio session, while a colleague responsible for Fabric spending could take the cost session in the same slot.
| Time | Session focus | What to ask |
|---|---|---|
| 10:15 | Human review in Copilot Studio and Power Platform, with Ben den Blanken | What should trigger review, and what does the reviewer need to make a decision? |
| 10:15 | Managing Fabric costs, with Alexander Arvidsson | Which workloads drive usage, and what should the team monitor after launch? |
| 11:15 | Configurable Power Automate flows using SharePoint lists, with Michał Ziemba | Which business rules should be configurable, and who should be allowed to change them? |
| 13:00 | Power Automate flow performance, with Elvira Cekrezi | Where does the delay come from, and how would you measure an improvement on a real workload? |
| 15:00 | Custom connectors and Azure Functions, with Tomas Riha and Paul Murana | Where does a standard connector fall short, and who will maintain a custom integration? |
| 16:00 | Role-based access in Dataverse, with Bülent Altinsoy and Katerina Chernevskaya | Can the workflow read and change only the records it needs? How would you verify that? |

When the workshop day makes sense
If you already build on Microsoft Power Platform and have a project to work through, the first day is the better place to get into the details. Joe Griffin and Sebastian Sieber’s workshop focuses on the governance and deployment practices a team needs before rolling out agents. Neil Rowlands and Keith Atherton take an architecture angle, using practical scenarios to examine design decisions that affect how an application will be maintained.
The workshop led by Samir Makwana and David Lorenzo compares flows that connect directly to other systems with agents that interact through an application's interface. The organiser expects working knowledge of Copilot Studio and familiarity with Power Automate cloud flows. It also asks attendees to test their environment in advance and to flag account or licence problems when registering. Check the setup instructions for the workshop you pick. Workshop details
Bring a process with real exceptions
Take a purchasing team that receives order confirmations by email. AI could extract item codes, quantities, unit prices and delivery dates from a PDF when suppliers use different layouts. A workflow can compare those fields with the original purchase order and flag mismatches. A buyer can review uncertain matches or changes in quantity, price or delivery date before the workflow updates the order in the purchasing system.
Ask how the same flow handles a duplicate email, a failed write or a document it cannot interpret. A retry should not record the same confirmation twice. A reviewer should see the original document alongside the extracted fields, and the team should be able to tell which records were approved, written or sent for correction. Those questions give an operations lead and an IT lead something concrete to compare across sessions.
If you already use Microsoft’s tools, check how approval actions handle responses and how data policies govern connector use in your environment. For an initial pilot, track review time, recurring exceptions and cost per confirmation successfully processed. Use anonymised examples for conversations at the event. Planning the Prague visit
Put both venues in your itinerary if you have a two-day pass. If you are choosing a hotel for both days, check connections to metro lines B and C. A single-day visitor can plan directly around Pankrác. The venue pages have arrival details, and Prague Integrated Transport publishes journey planning and service changes. How Kodo can help
Kodo helps companies turn recurring work into workflows their teams can run and maintain. We start with where the data comes from, what the system can check and which decisions a person needs to approve. In our Czech e-commerce data automation work, for example, we connect purchasing, warehouse and sales data so companies can check packaging calculations in one place.
If you have a process in mind, tell us which systems it touches and where your team still has to copy, check or correct data by hand. Contact Kodo
