Plan a business visit around the working time it gives you in Czechia. A direct route helps when its operating days, arrival time and return flight fit the meetings, the destination and the people you need to see.
Prague’s winter 2026–27 network offers a useful starting point for customer visits, partner meetings and technical work. The practical question is which itinerary lets you arrive prepared and complete the visit without rushing the final appointment.
A Warsaw visitor may be able to arrive the evening before a meeting. A team travelling from Taiwan needs to match less frequent long-haul departures with a longer programme. Someone attending one meeting in Prague faces a different decision from an engineer continuing to a factory elsewhere in Czechia.
This guide combines the airport’s seasonal announcement with airline sources and a dated Warsaw example checked on 5 November 2026.
What the winter schedule actually covers
Prague Airport says its winter timetable runs from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027, with 145 destinations and 69 airlines. It lists 20 destinations new to the winter offering and a net increase of 12 destinations compared with the previous winter. Airport announcement, 22 October 2026
The announcement includes scheduled routes and holiday charters. A destination in that seasonal total does not establish that an independently bookable flight operates on your preferred weekday, or throughout every month of the season.
Use the network to identify possibilities, then check the exact outward and return dates. A convenient outward flight can become an awkward trip if the return leaves before the final meeting or requires another overnight stay.
European connections: read the airport code as well as the city
The airport’s announcement identifies several high-frequency links. These are announced seasonal maxima, not a departure list for every date.
| Connection | Airport’s announced frequency | What matters for a business visit |
|---|---|---|
| London | Up to 12 flights a day across the city’s airports | Check the actual London airport, transfer and time needed to reach it |
| Frankfurt am Main | Up to seven flights a day | Compare the onward connection and the complete arrival time in Prague |
| Amsterdam | Up to seven flights a day | Check both the outbound and return connection when travelling through the hub |

The London figure is a citywide headline. It should not be read as twelve daily flights from Heathrow. Use the three-letter airport codes when comparing bookings and avoid substituting one airport for another in a transfer plan.
The same care applies to Istanbul. The airport’s quoted Pegasus increase to 17 weekly flights concerns Sabiha Gökçen, SAW. That is a different airport from Istanbul Airport, IST. A frequency headline alone cannot confirm an onward connection through the airport you need.
For a visit from Poland, compare Warsaw connections with the complete journey from your actual starting point. A short flight from Chopin Airport may fit a Warsaw-based visitor; reaching that airport can change the calculation for someone based elsewhere.
A practical Warsaw example: arrive Monday, work Tuesday and Wednesday
LOT marked 80 years of its direct Warsaw–Prague connection in 2026. It is an established route, but the working value of a trip still comes from its specific times. LOT’s route announcement
For an illustrative two-night visit, we checked nonstop options for 23–25 November 2026. The following two flights appeared in separate Google Flights searches on 5 November 2026.
| Date | Flight | Departure | Arrival |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monday 23 November 2026 | LOT LO521 | Warsaw Chopin, WAW — 16:00 | Prague, PRG — 17:15 |
| Wednesday 25 November 2026 | LOT LO526 | Prague, PRG — 19:40 | Warsaw Chopin, WAW — 20:55 |
All times are local. Outbound search · Return search. These are selected dated search results. The two legs were checked separately; confirm the itinerary, availability and ticket conditions with LOT before booking.
This gives the visit a simple shape.
Monday evening: transfer to the hotel, settle in and review the next day’s agenda. Keep a reachable contact for any change to the arrival.
Tuesday: use the full day for the main customer meeting, a demonstration or a site visit. Leave time to write up requirements and resolve questions while the people involved are available.
Wednesday: hold a second meeting or agree the next steps, then finish in time for luggage collection, the journey to the airport and the airline’s check-in and boarding deadlines.
The flights are observed options; the meeting programme is an editorial example. It depends on the customer’s availability and location. A factory outside Prague may require a different plan, and a meeting that cannot move may justify arriving earlier.
Asian business visitors: match the route to the whole visit
Two examples are particularly relevant to companies arranging visits from East Asia.
Taipei: STARLUX’s official website identifies a direct Taipei–Prague service launched on 1 August 2026, and its route page markets travel during the winter season. This provides a connection to investigate for Taiwanese visitors. Confirm the operating days and complete itinerary in the airline’s booking system. A monthly fare calendar is not a daily flight timetable. STARLUX announcement on its website · Taipei–Prague route
Seoul: Prague Airport announces an increase in Korean Air’s Seoul service from three to four flights a week for the winter programme. Korean Air also publishes a Seoul–Prague booking page. The weekly figure is the airport’s seasonal announcement; exact departure days, times and flight details need checking for the dates of the visit. Korean Air’s Seoul–Prague page
For a long-haul visit, compare the number of useful working days with the total nights away. A nonstop flight may simplify the journey, while a connecting itinerary may offer a different arrival or return date. Check the elapsed journey, transfer airport and baggage arrangements together.
If colleagues are travelling from several countries, agree the first shared appointment after their actual arrival plans are known. Keep the most important presentation separate from an arrival window that still depends on airport formalities and ground transport.
Choose the ticket around the work
A low headline fare can be a poor fit if the meeting date is likely to change or the trip needs equipment.
| Booking detail | Practical question |
|---|---|
| Changes and cancellation | What would it cost to move the return after a customer changes the agenda? |
| Cabin and checked baggage | Does the selected fare cover the actual luggage and dimensions needed? |
| Equipment or product samples | Has the airline confirmed how the specific items can travel? |
| Connecting itinerary | Is the transfer at the same airport, and who handles changes if a connection is missed? |
| Booking and expense records | Who books, who pays and which documents does the company need? |
Read the conditions of the selected fare. A route page or search result alone may not establish those details. Business travel describes the purpose of the trip; it does not automatically require a business-class ticket.
For a short regional visit, compare the whole journey with practical alternatives. Include the trip to the departure airport, waiting, ground transport in Prague and the location of the final meeting.
From the terminal to the first appointment
Prague Airport lists Terminal 1 for non-Schengen flights and Terminal 2 for Schengen flights. The relevant distinction is the flight’s route, rather than the traveller’s nationality. Use the confirmed terminal when sending pickup instructions. Airport terminal and public-transport guidance
For the journey into Prague, the airport’s published options include the following.
| Option | Connection or arrangement | When to consider it |
|---|---|---|
| Trolleybus 59 | Nádraží Veleslavín, then metro A | A visitor with manageable luggage and a destination convenient to that route |
| Bus 100 | Zličín, then metro B | A destination better reached through the western end of metro B |
| Airport Express | Connection to the main railway station | An onward rail journey or a destination near the station; check its own timetable and ticket |
| An ordered car | Direct journey to the confirmed address | Several colleagues, more luggage or an inconvenient final public-transport connection |
Prague Airport: public transport · Airport transport overview
The airport gives approximately 15 minutes for line 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín. That is one transport segment. Landing, leaving the aircraft, collecting luggage, reaching the stop, changing to the metro and walking to the office all add to the visit’s timeline.
For an official airport taxi, the airport lists Uber Airport, bookable through the app, kiosks or staffed counters. Confirm the selected product and its pickup instructions. If a host arranges another transfer, use the meeting point and contact supplied by that provider. Airport taxi information

Protect the return journey as well
At the time of review, the airport was warning about road restrictions around the reconstruction of the Aviatická intersection and longer airport-bound journeys during rush hour. Build the return around current traffic conditions, especially after an afternoon appointment. Current notice on the airport’s transport page
Agree a finish time for the last meeting before choosing how much can fit into that day. Include travel from the actual building, any hotel luggage stop and the airport time required by the carrier.
For a late arrival, check the night timetable and hotel reception arrangements. The airport lists night buses 907 and 910; a daytime metro connection should not be assumed for an overnight journey.
Choose accommodation around the meeting map
Before selecting a hotel, put the appointments on a map. Record the full addresses, entrances, reception contacts and any access arrangements the hosts require.
A city hotel may fit several Prague appointments. An airport hotel may fit an early flight or a meeting nearby. If the main destination is elsewhere in Czechia, compare the complete onward journey before using Prague as the base for every night.
Ask hosts about office opening days and year-end leave before committing to dates. For a first visit, a confirmed meeting with the right people is more valuable than a tightly packed schedule of tentative appointments.

Questions business visitors ask
Does a destination in the winter schedule operate every day?
A seasonal network list does not establish daily service. Check the operating dates and times for both directions. The airport’s overall figures also include holiday charters.
Can I use the Warsaw example for another week?
Use it as an example of how to structure a visit. The listed flights were returned for 23 and 25 November 2026 when checked on 5 November. Search again for your dates and confirm the chosen itinerary with the airline.
How soon after landing should the first meeting start?
Work backwards from the actual destination and include airport formalities, baggage, transport and preparation. For an appointment that cannot move, consider arriving the previous day. A quoted flight arrival or driving time does not cover the complete journey to the meeting room.
Should I choose a direct flight over a connection?
Compare the complete trip: operating days, arrival and return times, transfers, baggage and the working time available in Czechia. A direct flight can simplify travel, but its schedule still needs to fit the visit.
The main conclusion
Use Prague’s winter network to find possible routes, then organise the visit around confirmed appointments. Check the airport codes, both travel dates, the selected ticket and the complete ground journey.
For a first customer or partner visit, leave space to prepare and follow up. The useful itinerary is the one that helps the business conversation move forward.
