Plan the journey all the way to your meeting hall. The flight or train to Brno is only one part of arriving at MSV on time.
An international trip to MSV often combines an airport transfer, a train or coach and the final journey across Brno. Start with your actual flight arrival time and work forward through each connection, including baggage collection and the route from your hotel. Our accommodation guide helps you choose a base around that journey and your appointments.
Keep the Czech stop names alongside their English descriptions. Brno hlavní nádraží means Brno main railway station; Výstaviště, hlavní vstup is the Exhibition Centre main entrance stop.
Arriving at Brno Airport
The airport's current public transport information lists these links:
| Service | City connection | Airport's indicative journey time |
|---|---|---|
| Line 21 | Hlavní nádraží, main railway station | About 22 minutes |
| Line 77 | Úzká, opposite Galerie Vaňkovka | About 26 minutes |
| Night line N89 | Hlavní nádraží | About 20 minutes |
Use the timetables linked by the airport for your arrival. Day and night services differ, and an indicative journey time does not include waiting or the onward trip to your hotel. Older guides mentioning E76 should be checked against the current airport page.
Arriving through Vienna or Prague
Vienna Airport: compare a rail journey through Vienna Hauptbahnhof with a coach connection to Brno. Use ÖBB and České dráhy for rail searches. RegioJet's Vienna Airport stop information helps identify the coach boarding point; confirm the actual service and Brno arrival stop in your booking.
Prague Airport: check the airport's transport information for the transfer into Prague, then search an onward train to Brno. FlixBus also has a Prague Airport–Brno route page; use a dated search to find a service that fits your flight.
Compare the complete journey, including transfers. A later flight with a simpler connection can be more workable than a nominally quicker itinerary with little margin. Check baggage rules and the last available onward departure before purchasing separate tickets.
From the main station to the exhibition centre
For 6–9 October 2026, DPMB has announced special fair trams:
- P1: main station via Mendlovo náměstí to Výstaviště, hlavní vstup and Pisárky, operating 08:30–14:30.
- P2: Stará osada via the main station and Mendlovo náměstí to the same exhibition stop and Pisárky, operating 08:30–13:00.
For the journey towards the centre, the notice identifies ARENA BRNO as the first stop. Additional afternoon buses may be added if demand requires them. Plan the return using the live DPMB timetable, especially after the special tram operating windows.
Check your hall against the official fair map. The appropriate entrance can save walking once you arrive.
Exhibition centre address: Výstaviště 405/1, 603 00 Brno, Czech Republic. The map marks the venue address; choose your pedestrian entrance using the official fair map linked above.

City tickets for the visit
For Brno zones 100+101, DPMB's published paper-ticket and pass prices include:
| Standard ticket or pass | Price |
|---|---|
| Two zones, 15 minutes | CZK 20 |
| Two zones, 60 minutes | CZK 25 |
| Brno 24-hour pass | CZK 90 |
| Brno five-day pass | CZK 250 |
Choose the time allowance for the entire trip, including transfers. Follow the validation instructions for the ticket you buy; a paper ticket's validity begins when marked. Discount rules differ by passenger and journey, so confirm entitlement rather than assuming your home-country concession applies. Electronic payment options are explained on the DPMB fares page.
Driving to BVV
The BVV visitor parking page lists car access through gates 3, 7 and 8. On-site day parking is CZK 200 for one entry; Expoparking at Křížkovského 51 costs CZK 40 per hour. Check the live map for capacity and the correct approach before driving in.
Expoparking address: Křížkovského 51, 603 00 Brno, Czech Republic.

If you need step-free travel, check the specific entrance and vehicle connection with BVV and DPMB. A site's general accessibility statement does not resolve every part of a door-to-door journey.
Check fair ticket prices and entry conditions separately from city transport fares. Save your chosen connection, boarding point and exhibition entrance before travelling. On the morning of the visit, recheck service changes and allow time to reach the hall itself.
