A useful MSV visit starts with a manageable plan: the people you want to meet, the halls you need to reach and enough time to discover Brno after the fair.
MSV brings industrial visitors to Brno from abroad, often for a short working trip. For a first visit, the practical decisions deserve the same attention as the exhibitor list. Choose your arrival route, understand your ticket and give each meeting a realistic place in the day.
This guide brings those decisions together. It is written for international business visitors planning their own trip, with official links for booking and checking details.
Dates and the shape of the day
MSV runs at Brno Exhibition Centre from 6 to 9 October 2026. The public visitor hours are 09:00–17:00 on Tuesday to Thursday and 09:00–16:00 on Friday. These are visitor hours; exhibitors have different access arrangements. The official 2026 visitor guide contains the site map and opening information.
If you have a fixed meeting, start your route from its hall and stand. Leave room between appointments for walking, demonstrations and conversations that run longer than expected. A Friday visit needs an earlier finish than the other days.
Venue address: Brno Exhibition Centre, Výstaviště 405/1, 603 00 Brno, Czech Republic. The map marks the exhibition centre address; use the official visitor guide linked above to choose your entrance and find individual halls.

The organiser's ticket announcement confirms that MSV admission also covers IMT, WELDING, PLASTEX, PROFINTECH and FOND-EX. For separately organised conferences and meetings, check the individual entry conditions.
Make the visit specific to your business
Before arriving, write down the function you need a Czech contact to perform. It could be purchasing, distribution, installation, service, integration or manufacturing. That decision makes the exhibitor catalogue easier to use and helps you explain why a meeting would be worthwhile.
Use our guide to finding Czech industrial partners at MSV to prepare those questions. The 30-exhibitor overview offers examples to investigate; company presence at the fair does not by itself establish a demand for representation or a distributor.
If your company is exhibiting, our guide to Czech business support for exhibitors explains the initial company check and options for preparing local communication and follow-up.
Leave an evening open for Brno
A short city walk and dinner can suit a flexible evening. A concert or theatre performance gives the evening a fixed starting time and should be booked around your last meeting. Use the venue's own programme to check language, subtitles, ticket price and remaining seats.
For a business dinner, agree on its purpose before choosing a venue. An informal meal can help people get acquainted; a confidential technical or commercial discussion may need a private room. Keep one evening free if you expect meetings to generate follow-up conversations.
Before setting out
- Save your admission code and hotel address somewhere you can open without searching through email.
- Save the Czech names of your arrival station and exhibition stop in your route planner.
- Confirm any conference registration and appointment location separately.
- Check your return journey from Brno as carefully as the outbound trip.
- Reserve time after the visit to organise contacts and send agreed follow-up information.
The most useful plan gives you a clear first appointment, a realistic route through the fair and a few relevant next steps. Keep the official links close at hand so a change in transport or programme does not derail the day.
