An exhibitor list becomes useful when it helps you ask better commercial questions. At MSV Brno 2026, start with what each company actually offers, then test whether a Czech buyer, integrator, service provider or distributor has a clear role in bringing that offer to market.
The International Engineering Fair (MSV) is scheduled for 6–9 October 2026 at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Its published scope spans machining, forming, automation, measurement, materials, energy, logistics, plastics and industrial digitalisation. BVV's current event profile, checked on 2 October, displays more than 1,300 companies, 42 countries and more than 55,000 visitors as fair-scale figures. They are not final results for an event that has not yet taken place.
This guide looks more closely at 30 named exhibitors: all 15 companies listed for JETRO's Japan Pavilion and 15 selected German exhibitors in BVV's online catalogue. The German selection is a cross-section of technologies, not a ranking or a complete German exhibitor directory. Product descriptions come from JETRO and BVV. The questions in the final column of each table are our suggestions for investigation, not evidence that a company wants a Czech partner or that local demand has been confirmed.
Where the Japan Pavilion fits into the fair
BVV says JETRO will bring 15 Japanese companies to a shared pavilion in the centre of Hall V, stand 088. That is the location of the pavilion as a whole; the JETRO exhibitor sheet does not assign each company a separate stand number. JETRO describes Czechia as one possible gateway to European business for Japanese technology suppliers. That is the organiser's positioning, not a verified market-entry plan for each exhibitor.
The range is wider than robotics alone. It includes mixing equipment, finishing machines, industrial lighting, filtration, forming, materials handling and inspection software.
| Japanese exhibitor | Technology described by JETRO | A question worth asking |
|---|---|---|
| DOOG Inc. | THOUZER autonomous mobile robot for internal transport | Which Czech plant or logistics process could test its integration and service needs? |
| THINKY CORPORATION | ARE-312CE planetary centrifugal mixer for mixing and defoaming | Which material process needs controlled mixing, and who would validate the result locally? |
| SEIBU JIDO KIKI CO., LTD. | Stone lapping and double-disc surface grinding machines | What surface-finish and tolerance requirements would justify a technical trial? |
| Pi PHOTONICS, INC. | HOLOLIGHT patterned LED lighting for visible safety zones | Could a plant-safety integrator assess the lighting in a specific operating environment? |
| REX INDUSTRIES CO., LTD. | Pipe-threading and flaring tools, inspection cameras and hand tools | Which installation or maintenance channel would support users after a sale? |
| Nikuni Co., Ltd. | VDF Hydrocyclone for coolant filtration | What coolant, maintenance and waste data would a machining plant need to compare? |
| Tokai Spring Industries, Inc. | Custom springs from prototypes to small production runs | Which specifications and delivery volumes would a Czech equipment maker require? |
| Enomoto Machine Co., Ltd. | Servo-driven screw presses for forging | What site, integration and investment conditions would make a press suitable? |
| MEGATRADE Corporation | OpenAA open-source visual-inspection software | How would an integrator connect and validate it on a real production line? |
| Nippon Muki Co., Ltd. | High-temperature insulation material and filters | Which process temperatures and certification needs would determine fit? |
| Kamiya Saw & Knife Mfg. Co., Ltd. | Cold-saw blades for industrial cutting | Which workpieces and cutting conditions should be tested before comparing tool life? |
| AIDA ENGINEERING CO., LTD. | Cold-roll-forming machinery, forming rolls and crusher blades | Who would integrate, commission and service equipment for a Czech user? |
| NAKAYAMA IRON WORKS, LTD. | NAS1200T air separator for waste and materials recovery | Which actual waste stream would demonstrate useful separation performance? |
| HAGITEC Co., Ltd. | HAGITUBE flexible metal protection for fibre-optic and other cables | Which industrial installations need this protection, and to what specification? |
| MINITOR CO., LTD. | Precision micro-grinders and tools for moulds and finishing | Which toolmaking or deburring task needs a live demonstration? |
The products and applications above are condensed from JETRO's own exhibitor material. Performance statements in that material should be treated as supplier claims until tested for a particular customer. A useful fair conversation asks for application data, references, service arrangements and the next technical step.
Fifteen further exhibitors from BVV's German listings
The BVV i-Catalogue lists many foreign exhibitors. The following 15 German entries were selected from the catalogue to illustrate different possible conversations across machinery, components, materials, automation, recycling and industrial IT. They are not the only German exhibitors, and their presence is not an invitation to apply for a distributorship. The stand locations below were recorded from catalogue profiles on 2 October 2026 and should be checked again before travelling.
| Catalogue-listed exhibitor | Stand and listed focus | A question worth asking |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Mould GmbH | G1 / 046 · Precision plastic parts and rapid tooling | Which Czech OEM has a matching component specification and lead-time requirement? |
| AGEMA Germany GmbH | P / 001 · Electrical-discharge machining equipment | What application support and service would a toolmaker need locally? |
| AMF ANDREAS MAIER GmbH & Co. KG | P / 084 · Clamping and automation components | How do its current Czech relationships affect any possible additional role? |
| AMIS Maschinen Vertriebs GmbH | G1 / 035 · Plastics shredding and recycling equipment | Which processor or line integrator has a defined material stream to assess? |
| ASPINA GmbH | V / 072 · Compact motors, drives and blowers | Which machine builder needs a drive matched to a particular design? |
| Behringer GmbH | V / 130 · Band and circular saws for metalworking | What service and application support would an equipment buyer expect? |
| BIG DAISHOWA Europe GmbH | P / 133 · Precision boring tools and tool holders | Which CNC process would justify a technical comparison? |
| BIKAR METALS | V / 083A · Non-ferrous metals, plastics and semi-finished materials | Which material form, cutting service and delivery terms matter to Czech buyers? |
| BYK-Gardner GmbH | F / 054 · Measurement instruments for coatings and plastics | How would a Czech laboratory obtain calibration and technical support? |
| DASS-X | G1 / 002 · Catena-X-compatible supply-chain data exchange | Which supplier data and systems would a Czech integrator need to connect? |
| Dobot Europe GmbH | P / 081 · Industrial robots | Which local automation task, integrator and service route should be assessed? |
| EOS GmbH | A1 / 006 · Additive-manufacturing systems | Which part or production process has a credible technical and economic case? |
| EPPINGER GmbH | P / 033 · Static and driven tool holders for CNC lathes | What is already covered by the Czech company named in its catalogue profile? |
| FIBRO GmbH – Business Unit Standard Parts | G1 / 059 · Standard parts for tools and dies | Which mould maker or toolroom needs repeatable parts to a given specification? |
| Gebrüder Eberhard GmbH & Co. KG | G1 / 058 · Standard and custom tool-and-die components | Which Czech toolmaker needs standard parts or drawing-based production? |
Two rows show why this is a research guide rather than a list of unclaimed opportunities. The BVV catalogue mentions a Czech co-exhibitor for AMF and a Czech represented company for EPPINGER. Those relationships need to be understood before anybody assumes an open distribution role. The same caution applies to every company in both tables: a catalogue listing establishes presence at the fair, not a willingness to appoint a new partner.
Turn the list into a useful meeting plan
With 30 names on a page, the temptation is to contact all of them. A focused selection works better. Start with the role your Czech operation would actually need: direct customer, technical distributor, installation and service provider, systems integrator, component supplier or research collaborator.
For each company you approach, prepare five things:
- Product fit: the specific product or process that connects your offer to theirs.
- Partner function: the work a Czech organisation would perform after the introduction.
- Evidence: relevant specifications, references, operating conditions and certification needs.
- One question: the point that would make the meeting commercially useful even if no deal follows.
- Follow-up owner: who will answer technical questions, send documents and keep the discussion moving after MSV.
A meeting may reveal that direct sales are more sensible than distribution, or that a service partner must be in place before any sale. It may also show that the product does not fit the Czech application. Each result is useful if it saves a company from building a local operation on an untested assumption.
The main conclusion
MSV Brno 2026 offers a concentrated view of industrial technologies, but exhibitor presence is only the start of market research. The 15 Japanese companies in JETRO's shared pavilion and the 15 selected German catalogue entries give visitors concrete products and questions to investigate. Choose meetings by application and partner function, verify each company's own commercial intentions, and leave with agreed next steps rather than a stack of unqualified contacts.
How Kodo can help
Kodo helps international industrial and technology companies prepare the commercial and operational side of entering Czechia. We support early market validation, partner mapping, local positioning, English and Czech communication, web content and coordination of the first implementation steps. For an MSV visit, we can help narrow the target list, research relevant Czech companies, prepare local introductions and organise follow-up under an agreed scope. Kodo is independent of BVV and JETRO and does not represent any exhibitor without a separate mandate.
For legal, tax, regulatory, certification and investment-incentive matters, companies should work with qualified specialists and the responsible authorities.
